  Elbert Nichols, 83, of Enigma died January 11, 2015, at Golden Living Center in 
Tifton.
 Mr. Nichols was born on November 25, 1931, in Tift County and was the son of Ola 
Barnes and his step-father, Daniel Luther Luke, both deceased. He was retired from 
Tifton Aluminum Company. He was a member of Barnes Chapel in Enigma, where he 
served as the minister there for several years. He was a member of the Enigma 
Volunteer Fire Department.
 Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Annette Browning Nichols of Enigma, and 
one brother, Russell luke of Enigma.
 Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on January 13, in the Chapel of Bowen-
Donaldson for Funerals with Rev. James Tyson and Rev. Pat Suggs officiating.
 Interment was in Tift Memorial Gardens.
 Ricky Tucker, Clay Tucker, and Joe Joiner were amount those serving as 
pallbearers.
 Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals was in charge of arrangements.
