Born April 14, 1932 in Berrien Co. to the Ernest and Flora Everett Fountain, she was a homemaker and of the Holiness faith. She was married to the late Noah Nix. Survivors include three daughters, Martha Humbers and Darlene Starling, both of Homerville, and Jo Ellen Walker of Valdosta; one son, Wayne Pevy of Valdosta; 12 grandchildren, six great grandchildren. Funeral services were held July 7 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Revs. A.D. Connell and Hubert Hendley officiating. New River Free Holiness Church choir sang "Give Me No Flowers While I'm Living," "Come Morning," "Meeting In The Air," "I've Never Been This Homesick Before," and "Family Ties." Interment was in New River Free Holiness Church Cemetery. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were Oakland Myers, Roger Brown, Joe Simpson, Wesley Humbers, Butch Starling, Van Stevens, Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
