 NASHVILLE -- Lucious Ernest Nix, 89, of Nashville, died Friday, Nov. 15, 
2002, at Berrien County Hospital.
 Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Poplar Springs Missionary 
Baptist Church. The Rev. Gary James and the Rev. Johnny Hendley will 
officiate. Burial will follow at Poplar Springs Cemetery.
 Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. tonight at Lovein Funeral Home.
 Born February 16, 1913, in Berrien County, Mr. Nix was the son of George Nix 
and Valerie Tyler, both deceased.
 He was a retired farmer and a member of Poplar Springs Missionary Baptist 
Church.
 Mr. Nix is survived by his wife, Alma Harper Nix of Nashville; two sons, 
Billy Nix and Buddy Nix, both of Nashville; three grandchildren; and seven 
great-grandchildren.
 Lovein Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
