 Geneva Nix, 88, of Nashville died on December 16, 2005 at Berrien Nursing 
Center.

 Born March 28, 1917 in Berrien County to the late Clayton and Hester Ann 
Griner Moore, she was a homemaker and member of Brushy Creek Baptist Church. 
She was married to the late James Robert  "J.R" Nix.

 Survivors include two daughters, Nancy McCranie of Nashville and Dottie 
Griffin of Tifton; son, Buck Nix of Nashville; nine grandchildren, 20 great-
grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren.

 Funeral services were held December 18 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Lovein 
Funeral Home with the Revs. Junior Swain, Andy Griffin and Mickey Lindsey 
officiating. Faye Moore and Betty Joiner sang "Last Mile of the Way" and "Never 
Grow Old."

 Interment was in Westview Cemetery.

 Pallbearers were Guy Maddox, Alvin Culverhouse, Wayne Nix, Jerry Moore, Jackie 
Barber, Wilson Nix, Billy Moore.

 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
