Born March 28, 1924 in Hillsborough Co., FL to the late Jesse B. and Rossie Paulk Boyett, she was a homemaker and member of Nashville First Baptist Church and Order of the Eastern Star. She was married to the late Willard Nix. Survivors include daughter, Judy Collins of Cumming; son, Billie Bob Nix of Carrollton; sister, Virginia Wilkerson of Nashville; eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson. Funeral services were held September 30 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Southerland officiating. Wayne and Mary Nell Boyett sang "Some Call It Heaven, I Call It Home" and "Beulah Land." Interment was in Westview Cemetery. Pallbearers were Michael Nix, Rodney Nix, Chip Boyett, Mike McCranie, Eddie Culverhouse, Emory Gurley. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
