 Hubert Winford Nix, 72, of Orange City, FL, formerly of Nashville, died April 
4, 2014, at Florida Hospital Fish Memorial in Orange City.
 He was born June 23, 1941, in Berrien County to the late Charley Columbus and 
Eula Mae Yancey Nix and was a member of Poplar Springs Missionary Baptist 
Church. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Jack Nix and James Ernest Nix, 
and a sister, Lanette Nix.
 He is survived by two sisters, Carolyn Rowland of Orange City and Leta Hendley 
of Palatka, FL, several nieces and nephews.
 A graveside service was held April 8 at 11 a.m. at Poplar Springs Cemetery with 
Rev. Dan Nix officiating.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
