 NASHVILLE -- Betty Norton, 75, 807 Devonne St., died Wednesday in the South 
Georgia Medical Center. She was born in Oconee Co., SC and had resided in 
Nashville for 33 years. Before her retirement, she was associated with her 
husband in the operation of Norton Jewelers. She was a member of the Nashville 
United Methodist Church and Circle G.

 She is survived by her husband, Edwin Norton, Nashville; two sisters, Blanche 
Camp, Jefferson; Ethel Sears, Norcross; one granddaughter, Dawn Swain, 
Charlotte, NC, She was preceded in death by a son, Jim Norton, who died in 1987.

 Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in the Nashville United Methodist 
Church with the Rev. Tegler Greer officiating. Burial will be in Westview 
Cemetery. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home. The body will 
be placed in the church one hour prior to services. 

 Lovein Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
