 Brandon Nugent, 16, of Adel died September 16, 2006 at South Georgia Medical 
Center from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
 Born January 5, 1990 in Adel, he attended Beulah Holiness Baptist Church, 
worked at Wendy's in Adel, and attended Cook High School as a junior.
 Survivors include his father, Joe Nugent of Alapaha; mother and step-father, 
Pam and Tony Purvis of Lenox, maternal grandmother, Martha Moore Graham of 
Adel; paternal grandparents, Nell Rose and Herman Nugent, Sr. of Alapaha; two 
brothers, Chad Nugent and Brad Bristol, both of Adel; numerous aunts, uncles 
and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Willard 
Eugene Graham.
 Funeral services were held Sept. 18 at 4 p.m. at Beulah Holiness Church with 
the Revs. Ted Graham and Donnie Sloan officiating. The church choir sang "Peace 
in the Valley," "I'll Fly Away," and "Everybody Will Be Happy Over There."
 Interment was in Beulah Church Cemetery.
 Active pallbearers were Will Gates, Jeremy Graham, Brad Bristol, Kyle 
Spurlock, James Michael Davis, Justin Graham.
 Honorary pallbearers were Chad Rewis, Robbie Rowan, Eric Graham, Robert Folds, 
Micah Moore, Greg Holton, Brandon Clayton.
 Boone-Lipsey Funeral Home of Adel was in charge of arrangements.
