 Chad Nugent, 21, of Adel died September 18, 2006 at South Georgia Medical 
Center from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
 He was born March 20, 1985 in Adel. He worked at Nashville Mills, attended 
Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, and was a member of Beulah Holiness 
Baptist Church.
 Survivors include his father, Joe Nugent of Alapaha; his mother and step-
father, Pam and Tony Purvis of Lenox; maternal grandmother, Martha Moore Graham 
of Adel; paternal grandparents, Nell Rose and Herman Nugent, Sr. of Alapaha; 
brother, Brad Bristol of Adel; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was 
preceded in death by his brother, Brandon Nugent, and maternal grandfather, 
Willard Eugene Graham.
 Funeral services were held September 22, at 4 p.m. at Beulah Holiness Baptist 
Church with the Revs. Ted Graham and Donnie Sloan officiating. The church choir 
sang "I'll Fly Away," "Shall We Gather at the River," and "I'll Have A New 
Life."
 Active pallbearers Chad Rewis, Brad Bristol, Kyle Spurlock, Robbie Rowan, 
Justin Graham, Douglas, Dowdy.
 Honorary pallbearers were Will Gates, Brenden Clayton, Cesar Lopez, Derek 
Dowdy, Jeremy Graham, James Michael Davis, Eric Graham.
 Interment was in Beulah Church Cemetery.
 Boone-Lispey Funeral Home of Adel was in charge of arrangements.
