  Carol Faye O’Berry, 61 of Nashville passed away Thursday, Oct. 9, 2008 at her 
residence. She was born on April 6, 1947, in Pasco County, Fla. to the late 
Vasco and Maxie Marie Spells Harrelson. Carol died as she wished, at home 
surrounded by her loving family and under the care of Bethany Hospice. She was 
a member of Hope Baptist Church. She dearly loved her family, her pet dog Buck 
Wheat, flower gardening and the ocean at Amelia Island. She was a devoted wife 
and mother and will be dearly missed. She was the widow of Riley Lawson 
O’Berry, who died in 2004.She is survived by one son, the Rev . Riley 
(Margaret) O’Berry Jr., Nashville; three daughters, Jennifer (Shaun) Hall, 
Sandi (Ronnie) Skinner, Wanda (Marvin) Barker, all of Nashville; brother, 
Johnny (Flossie) Harrelson, Nashville; sister, Jo Ann (Ray) McClellan, 
LaGrange; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and 
nephews; and aunt, Katherine Kelley. She was preceded in death by four brothers 
and two sisters, Raymond, Ernest, Herman and Russell Harrelson, Linda Gray and 
Gail Griffin. Funeral service will be held Sunday, Oct. 12, 2008, at 2 p.m. at 
Hope Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Pickern and the Rev. Riley O’Berry Jr. 
officiating. Interment will be held in Nashville Memorial Gardens. Visitation 
will be held this evening from 6-8 p.m. Pallbearers were Jimmy Gyr, Ryan Gyr, 
Jamie Hall, Eddie Hall, Ron Skinner, Josh Bradford, Kellie Skinner. Lovein 
Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
