She was born in Nashville to the late Ottis M. and Eula Boyd Griffin. She and her husband owned Bob's Mover and Saw Shop in Waycross where she was bookkeeper and "jack-of-all-trades." She was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Robert A "Bob" Odam of Hoboken; daughter, Kelly Cox (Ashley), of Hoboken; son, Royce Odam (Angie), of Hilliard, FL; brother, James Derry Griffin (Mary), of Phoenix City, AL; a special niece, Cindy Crews (Brooks) of Hoboken; a special nephew, James Griffin, of Hoboken; five grandchildren, Colby Odam, Blayne Odam, Braydan Odam, Brett Crews, Lexi Crews and other relatives. Funeral services were held Jan. 27 at 2 p.m. at Miles-Odum Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in High Bluff Cemetery. Miles-Odum Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
