 Hazel Ruth Odom, 85, of Nashville died June 10, 2012, at Tift Regional Medical
Center.

 Born March 4, 1927, in Turner County to the late Newt and Katie Bowman Wheeler
Wheeler, she was a homemaker and member of Brushy Creek Baptist Church. She was the
wid
the widow of Ralph Willard Odom who died in 1996. She was also preceded in death b
death by a son, Steve Odom, daughter, Sandra Odom, five brothers and four sisters
sisters.
 She is survived by two daughters, Vickie Ward of Omega and Mary Beth (Jimmy)
Jeffer
Jefferson of Nashville; son, Roddie (Jane) Odom of Thomasville; 12 grandc
grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren.
 Funeral services were held June 22 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral with

with the Revs. Jimmy Parker and Earl Buckholtz officiating.
 Interment followed in Westview Cemetery.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
