 Bobby Eugene “Bob” Odum, 66, of Nashville died July 30, 2011, at Berrien 
Nursing Center following a lengthy battle with cancer.
 He was born July 14, 1945 in Lanier County to the late Ed and Julia Jones Odum. 
He was employed with Lakeland Floor Covering for over 20 years before ill health 
forced his retirement.
 Survivors include two daughters and son-in-law, Pam Odum Gipson (Ricky Trowell) 
of Nashville and Tonya (Jason) Kelley of Adel; sons and daughter-in-law, Michael 
Odum ( Mariela Middleton) of Nashville, Brett Odum of Ray City; sisters and 
brother-in-law, Mildred Griffin of Augusta, Polly and Thomas Griner of 
Nashville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Sonny and Betty Odom of Nashville, 
Wesley and Georgia Odum of Adel; 14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, a 
number of nieces and nephews.
 Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Aug. 1 at Lakeland Chapel of Music 
Funeral Services.
 Interment was in Empire Cemetery in Lanier County.
 Music Funeral Services of Lakeland was in charge of arrangements.
