  Carrie Lee Osborne, 102, of Nashville passed away Sunday Oct. 12, 2008, at 
Magnolia Manor in Columbus. She was born on June 1, 1906 in Berrien County to 
the late Joel and Laura Green Futch. She was a homemaker and member of 
Nashville First Baptist Church. She was the widow of Arthur Dewitt Osborne who 
died in 1978 and also preceded in death by a grandson, Arthur Dewitt Osborne 
III who died in 1999. She was very active in her church and was always willing 
to participate in any activity involving the New Lois Community.She is survived 
by one daughter, Dianne Gorman of Wilton, Conn.; two sons, Dewitt Osborne, Jr., 
Columbus, Dorian Osborne, Nashville; six grandchildren; and 10 great-
grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 16, 
2008, at Nashville First Baptist Church with the Rev. Stanley Luke and the Rev. 
Billy Southerland officiating. Interment will be held in Pleasant Cemetery. 
Visitation will be held Thursday, Oct. 16, 2008, at the Church one hour prior 
to the service.Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Nashville 
First Baptist Church. Pallbearers were Dan Osborne, Steve Osborne, Andy 
Osborne, Doug Nix, Phillip Akins, Bart Fountain. Lovein Funeral Home was in 
charge of arrangements.
