She was born April 23, 1924, in Berrien County to the late Isaac and Bertha Buck Daniel. She as a homemaker and, for 18 years, owned and operated Four Seasons in Valdosta. She was an avid golfer and also loved to fish. She was a former member of the Valdosta Pilot Club and had been employed by the Peoples Bank in Willacoochee and the former First National Bank in Valdosta. She was a member of the Riverside Missionary Baptist Church and the widow of Allen O'Steen. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Susan Hendley of Nashville; three grandchildren, Kristy, Donna and Ty; five great- grandchildren; two sisters, Inez Hendley, Nashville, Nellie Fussell, Douglas. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 9, 2006, in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. David Spring and the Rev. Junior Swain officiating. Burial will be held in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be held after 4 p.m. today with the family receiving friends from 7-9 p.m. The family requests memorials to the Odyssey Hospice in Valdosta.
