Born on March 8, 1939, in Berrien County to the late Landis Bryant and Oveida C Curry Tyson, she was a homemaker and a former clerk with the Berrien County Tax C Commissioner's Office and an agent with Federal Crop Insurance. Survivors include her husband J.W. Parr of Alapaha; daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Darrell Barber of Nashville; son and daughter-in-law, James and Kim Par Parr of Valdosta; three sisters, Lorene Dorminey of Enigma, Willene Barber of Spa Sparks, Carolyn Morris of Alapaha; brother, Roy Tyson of Enigma; three gra grandchildren, Zachary and Adam Barber and Heather Parr. She was preceded in dea death by a brother, Kenneth Tyson. Funeral services were held Oct. 26 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Ho Home with the Rev. Mark Tyson officiating. Songs on CD included "Go Rest High On On That Mountain" and "Amazing Grace." Interment was in Nashville Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers were Keith Dorminey, Gary Dorrminey, Matt Morris, Andy M Morris, David Tyson, Cameron Tyson, Joey Tucker. Honorary pallbearers were Faye Nix, Nancy McCranie, Mary Sumner, Anelda Griner. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
