Parrish, one of the best known Primitive Baptist divines in the part of the state, was buried at the Morris cemetery in Berrien county Thursday, he having died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. McCranie, in Douglas on Wednesday. He was a member of one of the most prominent families in this section and for many years had been a leading figure among the Primitive Baptist. He had not been in good health for several years. His wife died about two months ago but he is survived by several children. He had a wide circle of friends who are grieved at his death.
