 The Berrien Press -- Gary Lynn Parrott Sr., 56, of Carrollton died June 11, 
2006.
  Born Nov. 21, 1949 in La Follette, TN to Fleda Rose Murray Parrott of 
Nashville, TN and the late Harley Parrott, he was a retired lab technician with 
Tifton Medical Center and a train conductor at Hunter Park in Douglasville. He 
was a member and elder of Carrollton Presbyterian Church and served in the 
Carroll County Soup Kitchen.
  Survivors, in addition to his mother, include his wife, Sarah Anderson 
Parrott of Carrollton; a daughter and son-in-law, Amy and John Bennett of 
Douglasville; a son and daughter-in-law, George and Janice Parrott of 
Nashville, TN, Mark Parrott of Knoxville, TN; grandchildren, Connor and 
Catherine Bennett of Douglasville, Elijah Parrott of Burbank.
  Funeral services were held June 14 at 22 a.m. at Carrollton Presbyterian 
Church with Rev. Jan Tolbert officiating.
  A graveside service was held June 15 at 2 p.m. at Campbell Memorial Gardens 
in La Follette.
  Pallbearers were Doug Cole, David Coffin, Scott Weeks, Tim Hicks, John 
Pendrak, Bill Heamburg.
  Honorary pallbearers were the EPS Group.
  Almon FUneral Home of Carrollton was in charge of arrangements.
