  Mary Lou Parson, 83, of Nashville died April 2, 2008 at Berrien County 
Hospital.
  Born in Cullman County, AL to the late Eursie and Vera Abbott Gaither, she 
worked as a seamstress of Nashville Textile for many years until her 
retirement. She was Holiness by faith and a member of Little Block Holiness 
Church in Ray City. She is preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Parson, 
son, Leon Parson, brother, Manuel Gaither, and sister, Wynell Hamm.
  Survivors include her daughter, Linda Johnson, Ray City; three grandsons, 
Ricky Parson, Albany, Steven Wheldon and Gary Wheldon, both of Hahira; two 
granddaughters, Cynthia Hagadorn, Birmingham, AL, Michelle Baldree, Ray City; 
nine great-grandchildren and a few great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, 
Clifton Gaither, Mystic, Charles Gaither, Nashville; three sisters, Hazel 
Arnold Supply, NC, Margaret Crews, Nashville, Pat Garner, Ray City; and a 
number of nieces and nephew.
 Funeral services were held 2 p.m. on April 5 at Little Block Holiness Church 
with burial following in New River Holiness Cemetery.
  Music Funeral Services of Lakeland was in charge of arrangements.
