 Samuel M. Partin, 74, of Lakeland died April 1, 2004 at South Georgia Medical 
Center in Valdosta.

 Born in Jeff Davis County, he worked 20 years for Patten Milling Company 
before working at Nashville Mills where he retired. he was a member of First 
Baptist Church of Lakeland where he served as deacon, choir member, and Sunday 
School secretary.

 Survivors include his wife, Verma S. Partin of Lakeland; three daughters, 
Beverly Palerino of Lakeland, Sharon Kight of Naylor, Pamela Partin; one 
brother, Charles Partin of Sunrise, FL; two sisters, Annette Jones of Nashville 
and Saralene Brewer of Nashville, TN; five grandchildren, five great-
grandchildren.

 Funeral services were held April 4 at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church in 
Lakeland with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery.

 Music Funeral Services of Lakeland was in charge of arrangements.
