She was born June 20, 1925 in Cuba to the late Leocadio and Aurora Garcia Prida. She was a homemaker and retired corporate secretary with Life of the South Insurance Co. and was a member of Nashville United Methodist Church where she served in various capacities and as a member of Circle G. She loved playing bridge and was a member of the Monday-Wednesday Bridge Club. She was the widow of Henry Patten, who died in 1985. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Walter and Dot Patten of Sylvester; a daughter and son-in-law, Alice and Michael Bockenko of Nashville; four grandchildren; Patten Bockenko, Clairie Bockenko, Gamie Pattie and Annie (Seth) Kenney. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jose Prida. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Jan. 26 at Nashville United Methodist Church with the Revs. Dwight Bishop, Tegler Greer and Danny Ray officiating. Renee Gaskins, organist, provided the processional and recessional. Interment was in the Old City Cemetery. Pallbearers were Butch Houston, Larry Lee, Gerald Wayne Ray, Roger Cachu, Jose' Carlos Prida, Gerald Peele. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
