   Lillian Montgomery Pendarvis, 87, of Lenox died January 23, 2007, at Beverly 
Healthcare in Tifton.
   Born November 30, 1919 in Tift County to the late Charles Otis Montgomery 
and Minnie Lee Miles Montgomery, she was a member of Lenox Baptist Church, a 
beloved mother and grandmother, friend and neighbor to all who knew her. She 
loved a hearty laugh, a good day fishing, and cooking biscuits for her family. 
She was married to the late Frank Pendarvis, Sr.
  Survivors include one son Norman Pendarvis of Marietta, Ms; four daughters 
and sons-in-law, Bonnie and Mark Neal of Lenox, Ann Pharr of Marietta, MS, 
Carol and W.F. Taylor of Sparks and Judy Suggs of Lenox; 17 grandchildren; 40 
great grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and 
nephews. She was preceded in death by one son, Roy Pendarvis, two grandsons, 
Blaine Pharr and David Mushaney, and one great grandson, Robbie Davis.
  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, January 26 at Lenox Baptist 
Church with Rev. Lamar Harris and Rev. Chris Newbern officiating. Coleen 
Flowers played the piano, Reba Spradley sang "Sheltered in The Arms of God," 
Ron Gooden sang "Beulah Land" and Reba Spradley and Ron Gooden sang "Amazing 
Grave" at the cemetery.
  Interment was in Lenox City Cemetery.
  Active pallbearers were grandsons, Stanley Hunter, Wallace Montgomery, Mark 
Montgomery, Steve Montgomery, Leroy Montgomery, Carl McBrayer and Neil McBrayer.
  Honorary pallbearers were the Lenox Baptist Senior Adult Sunday School Class.
  Boone-Lipsey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
