NASHVILLE -- Martha Jean Perez, 63, of Glenn St. Mary, FL., died Wednesday in 
the St. Vincent Hospital in Jacksonville, FL, after a sudden illness. She was 
born in Berrien County and had lived in Nashville and Rockport, Texas, before 
moving to Glenn St. Mary. She was a member of the First United Methodist 
Church in Rockport.
 Survivors include: her husband, Al Perez, three sons, Steven Bray, Ft. Walton 
Beach, FL; Lyle Bray, Jacksonville, FL; David Bray, Rockport, Texas; two 
stepsons, Astro Perez, Jr. and James Perez both of Jacksonville, FL; five step-
daughters, Lyla Gedvillas, Lydia Bennett, Maria Perez, Cheryl Paugh and Lauren 
Perez, all of Jacksonville, FL; two sisters, Belle Hendley and Gladys Harris, 
both of Nashville; four brothers, Julian Sutton, Valdosta; Willis Sutton, 
Jacksonville, Ark; Tharon Sutton, Alapaha; John Talley Sutton, Andalusia, AL; 
13 grandchildren.
 Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Lovein Funeral 
Home. The Rev. Fred Hesters will officiate. Burial will be in the Poplar 
Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
