Born September 17, 1976 in Chatham County to George A. and Janice Vickie Knight Clanton of Nashville, she was employed by Chaparral Boats as a customer service representative. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors, in addition to her parents, include her husband, Joey Pettyjohn of Nashville; two sons, Jesse Green Ford and Tanner Luke Brady, both of Nashville; a stepson, Eric McMillan of Nashville; sister, Cindy (David) Stone, Nashville; brother, Britt (Angela) Clanton, Nashville; sister-in-law, Amanda Pettyjohn, Nashville; brother-in-law, Chevis Horn, Nashville; brother-in-law, Ricky Ashley, Nashville; mother-in-law, Reda (Joe) Johnson, Nashville. Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. on March 8 in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Revs. John Hendley and Skip Van Nus officiating. Damon Ford sang "I Believe" and Willie Carver sang "Amazing Grace." Songs on CD included "Go Rest High on that Mountain" and "The Dance." Interment was in Long Bridge Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Michael Warren, Huey Obester, Trevor Richardson, James Lott, Chevis Horn, Joe Johson. Honorary pallbearers were Joella Adams, Diane Stone, Amy Warren, Kris Nix, Sarah Ford.
