Born Dec. 6, 1972, in Cook County to Reda Griffin Johnson of Nashville and the l late William Lee Pettyjohn, he was a fiberglass finisher with Chaparral Boats. Survivors, in addition to his mother, include his companion, Cassandra Boyd of Alapaha, step-father, Ira Joe Johnson of Nashville; son, Eric McMillan of Cullman, AL; five step-children, Ashley, Amanda, Amber, Bobby, Kevin; brother and sister-in-law, Ricky and Trisha Ashley of Nashville; sister, Amanda Pettyjohn of Nashville; brother-in-law, Chevis Horne of Nashville; step-sister, Jessica Miley of Nashville; step-brother, Joseph Johnson of Lakeland; two n nephews, Bill and Christian. A graveside service was held Dec. 9 at 2 p.m. at Nashville Memorial Gardens wit with Rev. Johnny Smith officiating. Damon Ford sang "I Believe," and songs on CD CD included "Turn the Page" and "When You Say Nothing at All." Pallbearers were Johnny Johnson, Dale Robinson, Michael Jones, Joseph Johnson, Ke Ken Sumner, Kevin Coleman. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
