 Louis Melvin Phillips, 86, of Ray City died December 26, 2010 at his residence.
 Born August 31, 1924, in Shiawassee County, Michigan to the late Fred and L
Lottie Barber Phillips, he was retired from Chrysler as a dyecast e
engineer/tooling. He was of the Lutheran faith and served in the United States A
Army during World War II.
 Survivors include his wife, Deborah Goguen “Debbie” Phillips of Ray City; two 
daughters, Lynette L. McCormick and Patricia L.  Bray, both of Michigan; son, 
Louis M. Phillips, Jr. of Michigan; step-daughter, Jennifer Oloughlin of 
Boston, Mass; step-son, Sean Oloughlin of Boston; nine grandchildren.
 The family honored his request for cremation and a memorial service will be he
held at a later date at his home in Michigan.
 Lovein Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
