Durden dawned@dishmail.net February 5, 2008, 12:22 am The Berrien Press, Nashville, Berrien Co., GA Fannie Belle Godwin Plant, 89, of Nashville died March 2, 2000 at Tallahassee Memorial Regional Medical Center in Tallahassee, FL. Born Sept. 18, 1910 in Cook Co. to the late Kenny Wright and Rebecca Kirk Howell, she was a homemaker and member of Hope Baptist Church. She was the widow of E. L. Godwin and W. T. Plant. Survivors include five daughters, Louise Giddens of Adel; Bobbie Charlton and Martha Woody both of Nashville; Frances Walker of Lenox; Mary Weeks of Ellenton; three sons, Foster Godwin of Sparks; Ed Godwin of Ellenton; E. L. Godwin, Jr. of Sylvester; 36 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Funeral services were held March 4 at 3 p.m. at Hope Baptist Church with the Revs. Dean Spiver, John McCranie and Richard Trawick officiating. Interment was in Brushy Creek Cemetery in Cook Co., GA Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangement.
