Born April 29, 1946, in Berrien Co. to Idell Essie Mathis Rigdon of Nashville and the late Clarence Plymel, he was retired with the City of Nashville Street Department. Survivors, in addition to his mother, include his son, Bill Plymel of Adel; daughter, Tammy Clements, Sparks; stepfather, Wilbert Rigdon, Nashville; sister, Katie Weeks, Adel; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Nov. 21 in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Freddie Stone officiating. Eric and Kim Rountree sang "Go Rest High On That Mountain, "I Can Only Imagine," and "When the Storm Passes By." Interment was in Poplar Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers were Joe Fulghum, Kevin Weeks, Brandon Corbitt, Ricky Gandy, Brandon Weeks, Donald Mathis. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
