She was a retired school teacher, a member of the Ruth Forrester Missionary Baptist Church, and a member of Berrien Retired Teachers Association. She is survived by her husband, Jack Poole of Nashville; one daughter, Mrs. Virginia Bailey; one son, Lamar Poole; her mother, Mrs. Mark Watson; one sister, Mrs. Christine Outlaw; two brothers, Sam Watson and Herbert Watson; all of Nashville and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday at the Nashville First Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Southerland, pastor, Rev. Fred Hesters, pastor of Nashville Mission and Rev. Junior Swain, pastor of Ruth Forrestor Missionary Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Westview Cemetery. Body will lie in state at Lovein Funeral Home.
