The Berrien Press--Chris Porter, 25, of 1908 Raymond Ave., died Monday in the 
Berrien County Hospital from injuries in a tractor accident. He was born in 
Coffee County and had lived in Nashville most of his life where he was 
employed as a farm laborer.
 Survivors include: his widow, Pearl Porter, Jesup; daughter, Kaitlyn Porter, 
Nashville; son, Doyle Porter, Jesup; mother and stepfather, Myrtle and Earl 
Griffin, Nashville; father and stepmother, James Ralph "Pete" and Jane Porter, 
Douglas; one brother and sister in law, Mike and Crystal Porter, Nashville; 
one stepbrother, Mikie Griffin, Nashville; a niece, Kira Porter, Nashville; 
two nephews, Tony and Mark Porter, Nashville.
 Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Lovein 
Funeral Home. Burial will be in Westview Cemetery. Lovein Funeral Home is in 
charge of arrangements
