 Linda Powell, 55, of Nashville died July 25, 2005 at her residence.

 Born November 29, 1949 in Berrien County to the late S.J. "Buddy" and Merle 
Cook Stone, she was a homemaker and certified nursing assistant. She was a 
member of Nashville First Baptist Church and the Singles Sunday School Class.

 Survivors include one daughter, Kay Lavender of Omega; one son, Bobby Joe 
Powell, Jr. of Nashville; five sisters, Elizabeth Knowles, Patricia Temples, 
Elsie Griffin, all of Nashville, Mickey Robinson of Tifton, Carolyn Eades of 
Thomasville; one grandson.

 Funeral services were held July 28 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Lovein Funeral 
Home with Rev. Rick Williams officiating. Musical selections included "Amazing 
Grace" and "Shall We Gather at the River?"

 Interment was in Riverside Cemetery.

 Pallbearers were Lonnie Powell, Steve Stone, Chris Harnage, Johnny Blount, 
Terry Lee, Billy Sutton.

 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
