 NASHVILLE -- Ottis Powers, 68, of Nashville, passed away Wednesday, February 
4, 1998 at Tift General Hospital.
 He was born Nov. 10, 1929 in Lanier Co. to Howard Powers and Lillie Ruth 
Taylor. He was a member of the Holiness faith.
 He is survived by his mother, Lillie Ruth Powers of Nashville; two sisters, 
Pat Morrell and Carolyn Joiner both of Alapaha; two brothers, Cecil Powers of 
Alapaha and Robert Powers of Adel.
 Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Nashville Mission. The 
Rev. Fred Hesters will officiate. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery. 
Visitation is after 2 p.m. today with the family receiving friends from 7-9 
p.m.
 Lovein Funeral Home, Nashville, is serving the Powers family
