NASHVILLE -- Lillie Ruth Powers, 87, died Sunday, April 18, 1999, in the 
Berrien County Hospital. She was born on Oct. 17, 1922 in Berrien County to 
Sylvester Taylor and Hattie Wilkerson. She was a homemaker and a member of 
Assembly of God faith. She was the widow of Howard Powers.
 She is survived by two daughters, Pat Morrell, Alapaha, Carolyn Joiner, 
Nashville; two sons, Cecil Powers, Alapaha, Robert Powers, Adel; 20 
grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.
 Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. today at Nashville Mission with the 
Rev. Fred Hesters and the Rev. Caryl Martinez officiating. Burial services 
will be held at Westview Cemetery.
 Lovein Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements
