"Bobby" Prickett, 69, of Nashville, died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2004, at Berrien Nursing Center. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home in Nashville. Father Santiago Grandos will officiate. Burial will follow at Westview Cemetery. Lunch will be served in the dining hall of St. Mary's Catholic Church immediately following the service. A rosary will be said at 7 tonight at Lovein Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will follow until 9 p.m. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the charity of your choosing. Born Dec. 1, 2934, in Dade County, FL, Mr. Prickett was the son of Charles Bohler Prickett and Estelle Lee Moore. A retired civil service employee, Mr. Prickett was also retired after 32 years in the Army Reserve. He was a former alderman for the City of Nashville and a current member of the Berrien County Planning Commission. He served for many years as a baseball umpire with the Berrien County Recreation Department and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus Post in Valdosta. Mr. Prickett is survived by one sister, Sarah Prickett of Longmont, CO; one brother, John E. "Ed" Prickett of Nashville and several nieces and nephews.
