Prickett Died Monday at Miami Home Will Be Laid to Rest This Afternoon at Augusta. Mrs. J.D. Prickett, a former Berrien County citizen, died Monday at 12:45 P.M., at her home in Miami, Fla., following an operation about two months ago from which she never recovered. The body passed through Nashville yesterday on the Georgia and Florida noon train en route to Augusta where it was carried to the home of relatives and kept for burial, which will take place some time this afternoon in the Augusta cemetery. The corpse was accompanied to August by Mr. Prickett. The deceased was born and reared in August, where she married Mr. Prickett, moving to Berrien County about sixteen years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Prickett family lived in this county for about ten years, having moved to Miami, Fla., about six years ago where they had lived since. She is well known in Berrien County and has a host of friends who were saddened greatly at her death. Those surviving are her husband, Mr. J.D. Prickett and one son, Mr. Charles Prickett and several grandchildren, all of whom make their home in Miami, Fla.
