 Goldie Puckett, 87, of Nashville died May 21, 2004 at South Georgia Medical 
Center in Valdosta.

 Born November 26, 1916 in Wise County, VA to the late John and Alice hicks 
Austin, she was a homemaker and was married to the late Layfayette Puckett.

 Survivors include one daughter, Eva Conrad of Nashville; one sister, Myrtle 
Anderson of Itmann, WV; one brother, Ralph Austin of Warren, OH; nine 
grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren.

 Funeral services were held May 25 at Polly-Craft Funeral Home in Jenkins, KY.

 Interment was in Green Acres Cemetery.

 Local arrangements were handled by Lovein Funeral Home.
