The Berrien Press -- Earnest Franklin "Sandy" Rainey, Jr., 48, of Hahira died 
July 5, 2006 at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta.
 Born October 1, 1957 in Broward County, FL to Betty Jenrette of Lake City, FL 
and the late Earnest Franklin Rainey, he was a carpenter.
 Survivors, in addition to his mother, include three sisters and brothers-in-
law, Karen and Danny Mansukhani Rainey of Valdosta, Betty "Boochie" and John 
Snell of Portland, Oregon, Margaret and Billy Griffin of Lake City, FL; one 
brother, Ken Rainey of Valdosta. He was preceded in death by a brother, Scott 
Rainey.
 Funeral services were held July 8 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Lovein Funeral 
Home with Rev. Donnie Jenrette officiating.
 Interment was in Nashville Memorial Gardens.
 Selected family members served as pallbearers.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
