NASHVILLE -- Lankford Richardson, 81, of Nashville died January 20, 2003 at 
Berrien Nursing Center.
 Born August 15,1921 in Berrien County to the late Andrew Francis and Mary 
Ella Hamilton Richardson, he was a retired farmer and member of Liberty 
Primitive Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Melba 
Ruth Rowan Richardson.
 Survivors include his wife, Thelma Clanton Richardson of Nashville; one 
daughter, Latrelle Crosby of Nashville; one son, Emory Richardson of Moultrie; 
one step-son, Jackie Clanton of Nashville; two sisters, Myrtice Lewis and 
Minnie Roland, both of Nashville; three grandchildren, four great-
grandchildren; several step-grandchildren.
 Funeral services were held January 22 at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Lovein 
Funeral Home with Elder Robert Conner and Rev. Ronnie Lawson officiating. The 
church choir provided music.
 Interment was in Long Bridge Cemetery.
  Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
