 Thelma Clanton Richardson, 85, of Nashville died April 10, 2013, at Berrien 
Nursing Center.
 Born December 10, 1927, in Berrien County to the late Jesse and Mary Barber 
Rutherford, she was a homemaker and member of Vickers Church. She was preceded 
in death by her husbands, Alonzo Clanton and Lankford Richardson, and sister, 
Vera Crawford.
 Survivors include her son, Jackie Clanton of Nashville; sister, Vera Crawford 
of Nashville; five grandchildren, Rebecca (Tim) Walker, Melissa (Wes) Glisson, 
Jason (Marie) Clanton, Scott (Becky) Clanton and Aaron (April) Clanton; 16 
great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held April 16 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral 
home with the Revs. Ronnie Lawson and Jerry Hewitt officiating.
 Interment followed in long Bridge Church Cemetery. 
 Lovein Funeral home was in charge of arrangements.
