 The Berrien Press -- Elisha D. Rimes, 57, of Enigma died April 22, 2006 at his 
residence.
  Born September 18, 1948 in Tift County to the late Isaac Daniel and Mildred 
Harrell Rimes, he was a truck driver. He was preceded in death by a sister, 
Peggy Rockholt and a stepsister, Johnnie Faye Lara.
  Survivors include his wife, Lydia Loraine Byrd Rimes of Enigma; one daughter, 
Renee Loraine Rimes of Apopka, FL; two sons, Travis Daniel Rimes of Orlando, FL 
and Robert Lee Rimes of Enigma; two sisters, Judy Odell Chapple of High 
Springs, FL and Debra Milton of Adel; four stepsisters, Viola Luke, Latrelle 
Melcher and Florence Danford, all of Enigma, Mary Spivey of Waycross; two 
brothers, Donald Wayman Rimes of Brookfield and John Lucious Walker, II of 
Altoona, FL; three stepbrothers, Earston Walker and Daniel Walker, both of 
Enigma, Lawrence Walker of Barwick; five grandchildren, Travis Daniel Rimes, 
Jr., Casey Lee Rimes, Kimberly Abrams, Roger Bruce Abrams, Summer Dawn Abrams, 
three great-grandchildren, Breanna Abrams, Erica Cheyenne Newbern, Marty 
Newbern.
  His request for cremation has been honored.
  A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 29 at 11 a.m. at the family 
residence at Rt. 1, Enigma.
  Lovein Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
