Ritch Died on Monday James Nicholas Ritch died at the home of his nephew, Will Taylor, late Monday night after a week’s illness. He was 84 years of age. The deceased was born in Banks County, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Adrian Ritch. Sixty years ago he was married to Virginia Sisk, by whom he was preceded in death. For the past 27 years he has resided in Berrien County. Funeral services were held Wednesday at noon at the Flat Creek Church with interment in the church cemetery. The Rev. Felton Gaskins conducted the services. He is survived by five sons, D.K. Ritch, of Homestead, Fla., W.A. Ritch of Cramerton, N.C., Paul Ritch of Thomaston, James E. Ritch of Los Angeles, Calif., and Charlie M. Ritch of Atlanta; three daughters, Mrs. M.S. Nix of Atlanta, Mrs. G.H. Simpson of Atlanta, and Mrs. F.H. Maguire of New York City; one sister, Mrs. Eula Taylor of Nashville; 20 grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. The Giddens Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements.
