Marlin Drexel Roberson, 78, of Alapaha died April 21, 2014, at the Golden Living 
Center in Tifton.
 He was born August 25, 1935, in Boaz, AL, to the late Varnie H. and Ruby Lee 
Ellis Roberson. He was a retired truck driver and security guard for Hubert 
Moore Lumber Co. He was preceded in death by a son, Drexel Dane Roberson; 
sister, Jane Roberson; two brothers, Neal Roberson and Chip Roberson.
 He is survived by two sons, Donny Roberson of Sodie Daisy, TN, and Keith 
Roberson of Garfield, WA; daughter, Cheryl (Buddy) Lawler of Sodie Daisy; 
sister, Bonnie Chaney of Nashville.
 A graveside service was held April 23 at 4:30 p.m. at Pine Grove Cemetery with 
the Rev. Billy Roberts officiating.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
