 Dazell Roberts, 85, of Alapaha died October 29, 2010 at her residence.
 Born in Coffee County on March 4, 1925 to the late Aaron and Ellen McDonald M
Metts, she was a former Berrien County Commissioner. She was a homemaker, a
attended Springhill Primitive Baptist Church , and was a member of the Alapaha H
Hilltop Club. She was married to Carroll Wycliff Roberts, who died in 1985.
 She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Billy Stewart of 
Alapaha; a son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Elaine Roberts of Alapaha; four gran
grandchildren, Carroll Roberts, Lorie Beasley, Ashley Stewart and Cliff Stew
Stewart; six great grandchildren, Amanda Hulsey, Stephen Roberts, Savannah Robe
Roberts, Nathan Roberts, Cody Beasley and Jared Beasley.
 Funeral services were held Nov. 1 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Hom
Home with Rev. Mickey Lindsey officiating. Terri Wallace sang "Amazing Grace."
 Interment was in Brogdon Cemetery.
 Pallbearers were Carroll Roberts, Stephen Roberts, Cliff Stewart, Jeff B
Beasley, Riley Hulsey, Jacob Parker.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
