 Erma Ruth Roberts, 88, of Enigma, died March 9, 2013, at Tift Regional Medical 
Center.
 She was born August 8, 1924, in Berrien County to the late Jessie Andrew and 
Julia Gertrude Dean Stewart. She was a homemaker, devoted farmer's wife and for 
38 years was employed with the Berrien County Board of Education as a para-pro 
and substitute teacher. She was an active member of Enigma Congregational 
Christian Church since 1957 and served as secretary, treasurer, and Sunday 
School teacher. She was the widow of Winston Roberts and they were married for 
50 years until his death in 1992.
 She is also preceded in death by her step-mother who raised her, Mattie 
Alexander Bennett Stewart; two sisters, Bertie Danforth and Valerie Painter.
 She is survived by a daughter, Cynthia (John) Woodard of Cordele; two sons, 
Farrell (Kathy) Roberts of Tifton and Llewellyn (Linda) Roberts of Enigma; 
eight grandchildren, Darline (Lanny) McCluskey, Derene Sumner, Cathy Morris, 
Dallas (Travis) Ingram, Jock (Brenna) Taylor, Bridget Taylor Milani, Doug 
(Heather) Roberts and Dane Roberts; 10 great-grandchildren.
 Funeral services were held March 12 at 11 a.m. at Enigma Congregational 
Christian Church with the Revs. Mark Stone and Garvie Nichols officiating.
 Interment followed in Enigma Cemetery.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
