Mrs. Rowan Roberts Is Dead at Nashville
	Nashville, Ga., Sept. 6 – The sudden death last night of Mrs. Catherine 
Gaskins Roberts, wife of Mr. Rowan Roberts brought much grief and sadness to 
relatives and friends here.  Mrs. Roberts retired in seemingly good health and 
died during the night, her son finding her dead in the morning.  She was 68 
years old and was born and raised in Berrien County, having made Nashville her 
home for a number of years.  Much sympathy is felt for Mr. Roberts who was away 
from home at the time visiting a sick sister.
	Mrs. Roberts leaves, besides her husband, a son Mr. Will Roberts, of 
Nashville; a grand son, Harwell Roberts; three brothers, Messrs. Tom and Bert 
Gaskins, of Ray City, and Bryant Gaskins, of Sparks; and a sister, Mrs. Ida 
Sirmans of Sparks.
	Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at the Methodist church by 
her pastor Rev. Pearson.
