Born April 16, 1931 in Cook County to the late Joseph Carl and Flonnie Bell Harris Robinson, he was a retired master electrician and of the Baptist faith. He served with the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and received a Purple Heart. Survivors include his wife, Mildred Rentz Robinson of Ray City; one son, Wesley "Woody" Robinson of Valdosta; one daughter, Wanda Cagle of Ray City; four brothers, Leland Robinson of Hahira, Joe Robinson and E.J. Robinson, both of Muskogee, OK, Johnny Robinson of Dunn, NC, three sisters, Hazel Strawder of Ray City, Mary Ann Brown of Hahira and Ruth Treadwell of Valdosta; three grandchildren. Funeral services were held July 13 at 3 p.m. at Boone-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Cagle officiating. Interment was in Concord Cemetery. Boone-Lipsey Funeral Home of Adel was in charge of arrangements.
