  Henreitta Evelyn Rogers, 92, of Alapaha, died Thursday, March 26, 2015, at 
Berrien Nursing Center.
 She was born October 2, 1922, in Wilcox County to the late Henry David and 
Leolian Pearl Farrow Minyard. She was a homemaker and a member of Alapaha Baptist 
Church. She was the Widow of James Lamar Lanier Rogers and also preceded in death 
by a daughter, Donna Joy Rogers.
 She is survived by two sons, Phillip (Sylvia) Hoffman of Alapaha and James L. 
(Debbie) Rogers, Jr. of Lake Park; five grandchildren; four great-great-
grandchildren.
 Funeral services were held March 29 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral 
with the Rev. Porky Haynes and Revv. Gerald Mallard officiating.
 Interment was in Riverview Memorial Gardens in Valdosta.
 Lovein Funeral home was in charge of arrangements.
