Friends and relatives in this section sympathize with Mr. and Mrs. L.L. Rowan in the loss of their little daughter, Janet, who died Monday morning at 4 o'clock from an attack of pneumonia. The little girl several days previous accidently fell in a tub of boiling water, and afterwards pneumonia was contracted. The little girl was two years of age. Mr. and Mrs. Rowan are prominent people who reside in the Cottle section, about 4 miles from Nashville. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 4 o'clock at Long Bridge church, interment in the Long Bridge Cemetery.
