The Berrien Press -- Donald Rowan, 85, of Vero Beach, FL, died February 23, 
2006 at Vero Beach.
 Born September 27, 1920 in Berrien County to the late John Cornelius and Lena 
Belle outlaw Rowan, he was retired from the U.S. Department of Agriculture. He 
was a veteran of WWII.
 Survivors include four sisters, Patricia Ford of Landrum, SC, Dot Drake and 
Frances Griffin, both of Nashville, Helen Rhodes of Tucker.
 A memorial service was held March 11 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Lovein 
Funeral Home with the cremains to be interred in Long Bridge Cemetery. Rev. 
Rick Williams officiated.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
