  Carrie Lee Rowan, 82, of Nashville died Feb. 8, 2008 at Berrien Nursing 
Center.
  Born October 4, 1925 in Berrien County to the late Jerry and Julia Parr 
Sutton, she was a homemaker and member of Flat Creek Baptist Church. She was 
preceded in death by her first husband, Carlton Morris, who died in 1973.
  Survivors include her husband, W.B. "Dub" Rowan of Nashville; daughter, Peggy 
Darlene Lester of Nashville; three sons and daughters-in-law, Tommy and Carolyn 
Morris, Jerry and Lynn Morris, Terry and Ann Morris, all of Nashville, two 
stepsons, Willie B. Rowan of Fayetteville, TN, Charles E. Rowan of Enigma; 
stepdaughter, Betty Holcomb of Macclenny, FL; sister, Grace Lindsey of 
Nashville, sister-in-law, Letha Sutton of Nashville, ten grandchildren, six 
great-grandchildren, 17 step-grandchildren, 37 step-great-grandchildren and 
four step-great-great-grandchildren.
  Funeral services were held Feb. 11 at 11 a.m. at Flat Creek Baptist Church 
with the Revs. Mickey Lindsey and Gary James officiating. The church choir 
provided appropriate music, including "Precious Memories," accompanied by Tammy 
Kent.
  Interment was in Flat Creek Cemetery.
  Active pallbearers were Steve Lindsey, Junior McGee, Herbie Griffin, George 
Harper, Ronnie Griner, Chad McGee.
  Honorary pallbearers were Bud Whitley, Lamar King, Bill Connell, Bobby Kent.
  Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
